Do I pay anything for the replacement car?
No. With credit hire, charges are billed to and recovered from the at-fault party's insurer. You pay no hire charge, no deposit and no excess on the replacement vehicle for a qualifying non-fault claim.
How long can I keep the replacement vehicle?
For the reasonable duration your own car is off the road — the full repair period, or until you receive settlement if the car is a write-off. We manage the repair timeline so the hire period never becomes your problem.
My car is driveable — can I still get a replacement when it goes in for repair?
Yes. If the car is driveable now, we book the repair and deliver your replacement the day your car goes into the bodyshop, so you're never without wheels.
